Gain access to FGCU’s 16,000 hard-working students through Eagle Career Network, your venue to advertise full-time, part-time, and internship positions. Posting is free and is a great way to easily reach FGCU students and alumni.

Access Eagle Career Network

All employers that utilize Eagle Career Network accept that the information contained in the system is for the sole purpose of employment-related activities only. Florida Gulf Coast University reserves the right to deny access to any employer that abuses the system or posts intentionally inaccurate or misleading information. Employers are expected to respect the privacy of student / alumni information and proceed with due professionalism. All employers utilizing ECN are expected to adhere to the Principles for Ethical Professional Practice provided by the National Association of Colleges and Employers.

If your company has not previously established an Eagle Career Network account, you will need to start with this step. If your company has already established a profile, and you as an individual need access to that profile, please email us to request access.

An Eagle Career Network (ECN) account will allow you to post job and internship opportunities on our Symplicity platform and register for recruiting events. ENC registration is quick and easy. To register: – Go to Eagle Career Network and click on the Employers/Organizations/Non-Profit Agencies tab and then select “Sign Up” or “Sign Up And Post Job” – Fill out the profile (put as much information as possible in your profile – this is free advertising!) – Wait for an email that has your password and an activation link (your email address is your user name). – After activation, you will log-in at https://fgcu.csm.symplicity.com/employers/Posting Jobs.

Tips

  1. When filling in your contact information, use your company email address. Registrations with personal emails are subject to be rejected.
  2. In order to protect our students from fraudulent advertisements, all new employer registrations will be reviewed by a member of our staff before access to the system is granted. Please allow 2-3 business days for this process to occur.
  3. Once your account has been approved, you’ll receive an email with an account activation link.

Job postings are a great way to showcase your part-time, full-time, internship, and co-op opportunities to FGCU students and alumni. If you already have an Eagle Career Network account, you can post directly by logging in with your credentials.

Once logged in, go to Postings: Jobs & Internships, Research on the left menu, then click Your Positions. Scroll down and select Post a Job.

Choose “Post to This School Only” to share your opportunity with FGCU students and alumni. To post more broadly via Symplicity Recruit, select “Post to Multiple Schools” (fees may apply; not managed by FGCU).

Complete all required fields and submit. We recommend including a detailed job description to attract strong candidates.

Career Development Services acts as a referral service only. We do not accept or manage applications on your behalf.

Submissions are reviewed within 2–3 business days. Approved postings will remain visible until deleted or expired.

Prohibited Job & Internship Postings

Positions that pay below federal or Florida minimum wage, offer compensation in cash or “under the table,” or violate employment laws, EEO standards, or the Fair Labor Standards Act are also not allowed.

Unpaid internships with for-profit employers that do not meet the criteria established by the Internship Programs under the Fair Labor Standards Act are not permitted.

Work in private homes—including childcare, yard work, moving, maintenance, or other odd jobs—is not permitted.

Third-party recruiter postings are prohibited if the employer name is not disclosed or if applicants are required to pay a fee.

Network marketing opportunities are not permitted. This includes positions that involve recruiting others to start a business selling products or services, require upfront investments such as training fees or purchasing a starter kit, or offer compensation solely through commission, downline earnings, or non-monetary rewards like merchandise.
