Established in 2005, ABLE Academy is a locally grown nonprofit dedicated to providing high-quality therapeutic and educational services to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, autism, Down syndrome, and social-emotional disorders. For over two decades, we’ve been committed to empowering our students and their caregivers—providing the training and support needed to foster growth and success at home and beyond.
We’re expanding our team and currently hiring a Special Education Teacher to join our dynamic and supportive school community.

What You’ll Do:
- Teach and support students in small group classroom settings
- Foster academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
- Support students’ communication, independence, and success
- Implement effective lesson plans and evidence-based strategies
- Collaborate with families, therapists, and team members
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development
Who Should Apply:

Whether your background is in psychology, social work, behavior analysis, or a related field, your unique skills and experiences can help our students thrive.
What We’re Looking For:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Passion for working with diverse learners
- Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and flexibility
- Experience with developmental and behavioral challenges (preferred)
- Familiarity with ABA principles (a plus!)
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, professional notes and documentation in English
- Background check required
