Immediate open position(s) available for a Project Engineer with CIVILGEAR, LLC. Position requires a minimum of a BS Degree in Engineering, E.I. Certification or ability to obtain it, and is open to experience levels ranging from recent graduate to 4+ years (Civil or Environmental background preferred). The Project Engineer will be responsible for assisting Project Managers with the preparation of cost estimates, schedules, infrastructure design, and drainage modeling for a variety of residential and commercial land development projects. The Project Engineer will be required to prepare and compile engineering reports, assist with permitting applications, and supporting documents. You will assist with research and become familiar with municipal and agency codes / regulations as you begin to coordinate with Project Managers, Clients, agency personnel, and contractors. The Project Engineer will routinely implement project objectives and proactively solve problems, as well as assist with engineering site inspections with projects to confirm compliance with applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and standards. The applicant must be skilled in technical writing and able to ensure effective communication and coordination on assigned projects. AutoCAD experience is a plus.
