Career Ready Eagles module

The Career Ready Eagles module in Canvas is designed to give students an understanding of how to start the career planning process, the tools available to them, and how they can continue the growth through their years on campus. Completing the course is a requirement is a state requirement of all incoming Florida college students. If the course is not completed, a hold will be placed on the student’s account after the drop/add period of the student’s second semester. Once the course is completed, the hold will be removed.

  1. Review the content in the Career Ready Eagles Canvas module. This includes reading, brief videos, and small activities.
  2. Explore the MyFloridaFuture.org website to compare salaries of different majors and earnings over time.
  3. Complete the Focus 2 assessments that help with major and career path choice.
  4. Register with Career Development Services by completing your profile in Eagle Career Network.
  5. Complete the Career Ready Eagles quiz and affirm you have completed the requirements and received the information listed above.
