The Archives internship with the FGCU University Archives & Special Collections (UASC) will provide the opportunity for students to learn best practices in archival arrangement, description, and preservation. This internship provides opportunities for students to build upon new or existing skills and will introduce them to hands-on work with historic collections. Interns will work with the UASC team to discuss both short-term and long-term solutions for making collections more accessible.
Opportunities may vary by semester. Unpaid internships are offered for course credit only. Archives internships are open to individuals currently enrolled in an FGCU undergraduate or graduate program.
We are currently searching for students for the Spring 2027 semester.
Interested applicants should apply on Eagle Career Network and send their Resume and Statement of Interest to libarchives@fgcu.edu.
