Residential Clinician
Looking for a Clinician with assessment experience in multi-campus care for patients with mental health and addiction diagnoses. Skilled in assessments, 12-Steps Programs, ASAM and documentation. Committed to providing a therapeutic environment, meticulous documentation, and collaborative care in adult residential programs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise screenings, intakes and assessments; group and individual therapy; family counseling; treatment and planning revision; crisis counseling
- Provide assessments, group and case management services to adults/families, seeking new opportunities for services
- Completes case reviews, evaluation, case management, and review and audit of charts
- Collaborates with staff and clinicians to ensure patient needs are met

Preferred Skills:
- ASAM and DSM-IV knowledge
- Knowledge of 12 core functions of addiction and 12-steps programs
- Proficient with PC and EHR software
- Therapeutic Modalities Knowledge
- Documentation
- Dual Diagnosis (Mental Health & Substance Abuse)
Additional Requirements:
- Successful pre-employment medical screening (drug test & TB)
- Level 2 Background Screening (DCF & AHCA)
- Completion of one week orientation
Job Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited university in a human service field required. CAP preferred, but not required
- Requires One (1) year of full-time experience working with individuals with mental health, substance abuse and / or co-occurring disorders
- Must possess and utilize effective communication skills (oral and verbal)
- Must have general knowledge of co-occurring disorders in order to best serve our population of patients
